“I found out about the Building Builders Mentorship program at a NRCA Construction month breakfast in Prince George. I have plans to retire in the next 10 years and I would like to make a lasting impact on the future of the workforce; share experiences, offer guidance and stories that contribute to the BC Construction industry through mentorship. I currently have two Mentees through the BCCA Building Builders program that are looking at two different employment directions in construction. Our meetings consist of great discussions and a whole lot of sharing. I found the program rewarding, easy, not a huge time commitment, flexible and the assigned Mentorship Program Advisors support to be seamless. I challenge anyone looking to retire (or if you are in retirement) to sign up and give back by sharing your skills and experience with our future Mentors of the BC construction industry.”
