When Namanpreet Singh joined Building Builders, he was at a crossroads—questioning whether construction was the right long-term path. Through mentorship, that uncertainty turned into direction.
Matched with mentor Michael McGoldrick, Namanpreet gained encouragement, perspective, and practical advice that helped him rebuild confidence and better understand his place within BC’s construction industry. Through the program, he participated in a PNE Amphitheatre site visit, received PPE to safely attend, and completed the second half of his Construction Safety Officer (CSO) training—support that strengthened his employability.
With his mentor’s encouragement, Namanpreet secured a role as a Site Supervisor at a pivotal moment in his career. Today, he’s thriving and continuing to grow into leadership.
“The guidance, insights, and support I received through the program helped me build confidence and gain a clearer understanding of my career path within BC’s construction industry.” — Namanpreet Singh, BCCA Building Builders Mentee
