Behind the Scenes of a Landmark Project
As part of the Building Builders program, participants recently had the chance to step inside the PNE Amphitheatre construction project, currently being built by EllisDon.
What made this visit stand out was the chance to walk through an active site in progress, guided by professionals who took the time to welcome questions and share insights. For Mentees exploring careers in construction, these real-world moments offer more than exposure—they provide the context, connection, and confidence that only hands-on learning can deliver.
“The PNE site visit was amazing! I was greeted by Kyle and Mindy [Building Builders Mentorship Advisors] and met some of the other attendees. It was great to walk through the site that the world will be coming to attend in the next year. The EllisDon staff were very accommodating and answered all my questions. I was very impressed with how things were set up for us.”
